Privacy

Your captures stay private

Local captures remain on your device until you choose upload, sharing or synchronization. Cloud uploads contain the image or video and its associated title, tags, recognized text, app name, website URL and recorded window activity, when those features are enabled.

Accounts and security

We store your name, email, optional country, preferences and support messages. Passwords are hashed; MFA secrets are encrypted. Native-device tokens are hashed on the server. Authenticated connections use HTTPS in production. Cloud storage is not end-to-end encrypted: the service must process files to provide search and sharing.

Sharing and teams

Workspace members can access content according to their roles. A public link grants access to its files, including nested files for a folder link. Optional passwords, expiry and revocation restrict that access. Hiding the download button cannot prevent saving a visible image or video. Private OCR and browsing context are excluded from public share responses.

Storage and retention

A free account includes 2 GB across its owned workspaces. Items in the trash still count until permanently deleted. Revoking a link stops future access through that link. Backups may retain deleted information until their retention period expires; the production operator must publish that period before launch.

Your choices and support

You can edit your profile, revoke devices, disable sync and delete files. Request an account export, account deletion or privacy help through support. Only essential authentication and share-access cookies are used; this build includes no advertising trackers. Optional AI providers receive captures only when you enable those features in the desktop app, under their own terms.
